R&D Working Group | AI, Engineering & the Future of Electric Flight
October 8, 2026 | Zürich
The next meeting of the Swiss Aerospace Cluster R&D Working Group will bring together perspectives from Artificial Intelligence, engineering, battery technology and electric aviation.
New AI capabilities are rapidly finding their way into engineering and product development. At the same time, advances in battery technology and electric propulsion are opening up new possibilities for aviation.
But what does this mean in practice? How can AI support engineering and development processes? Where can it create tangible value today? And how do new technologies interact with certification, compliance and the requirements of aviation?
The evening will combine practical expert talks with an open exchange between participants from industry, engineering and aerospace.
Program Highlights
AI for Engineering & Battery Development
Sphere Energy
A practical perspective on the use of artificial intelligence in engineering and battery development.
eFlying – Towards Electric Aviation
