Change in the cluster office

After four years as Managing Director, Erik Linden has handed over the management of the Swiss Aerospace Cluster to Dr. René Puls.

At the General Assembly 2020, the Board of Directors thanked Erik Linden for his services as Managing Director of the SAC. He took over the cluster with roughly 60 members, and four years later it has grown to over 130 members. Highlights of his time in office include the organisation of the Bodensee Aerospace Meeting 2018 in Zurich and the 1st Swiss Helitag 2020 in Näfels with over 200 participants. Erik Linden will now complete his dissertation and continue to be in charge of exciting aerospace projects at the Center for Aviation Competence at the University of St. Gallen (HSG).

With Dr. René Puls, an extremely competent successor has been found. He is Deputy Director, Lecturer and Project Manager at the Center for Aviation Competence (CFAC-HSG) and has many years of experience in the IT, energy, finance and aviation sectors. His research focus is on Business Models & Economics in Aviation and Airport Management.

René Puls will continue to be supported by Adrian Müller in the cluster office which is affiliated with the Center for Aviation Competence (CFAC-HSG).

Nach vier Jahren als Geschäftsstellenleiter hat Erik Linden die Leitung des Swiss Aerospace Clusters an Dr. René Puls abgegeben.

Anlässlich der Generalversammlung 2020 dankte der Vorstand Erik Linden für seine Verdienste als Managing Director des SAC. Er hat das Cluster mit ungefähr 60 Mitgliedern übernommen, vier Jahre später ist es auf über 130 Mitglieder angewachsen. Als Höhepunkte seiner Amtszeit sind die Ausrichtung des Bodensee Aerospace Meetings 2018 in Zürich und der 1. Schweizer Helitag 2020 in Näfels mit über 200 Teilnehmern hervorzuheben. Erik Linden wird nun seine Dissertation fertigstellen und weiterhin spannende Projekte aus Luft- und Raumfahrt am Center for Aviation Competence der Universität St. Gallen betreuen.

Mit Dr. René Puls konnte ein äusserst kompetenter Nachfolger gewonnen worden. Er ist Stv. Geschäftsführer, Dozent und Projektleiter am Center for Aviation Competence (CFAC-HSG) und bringt jahrelange Erfahrung aus dem IT, Energie-, Finanz- und Luftfahrtsektor mit. Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf Business Models & Economics in Aviation sowie Airport Management.

René Puls wird in der Geschäftsstelle, die am Center for Aviation Competence (CFAC-HSG) angegliedert ist, weiterhin von Adrian Müller unterstützt werden.
